not sure if many people understand what you are asking. can you be more specific or rephrase your question (or use different words to ask your question)?

So if I get this? Is my device not compatible with a non UAD driver? I have an MSI Meg Ace z390 mobo.

Yep. You have a DCH (UAD) driver.
You can check it here : Determine the DCH (UAD) Realtek driver needed for your Audio

So I ran the powershell script from the link you sent me and got this. I have no idea what to do next and I also never understood what to DO with the .cab file. I see that theres a bunch of files INSIDE the cab file but not sure which file(s) I need and not sure how to load this into windows. Heres the screenshot of the powershell script output

And so theres no way to go from a DCH to an HDA driver with this hardware? Even a custom driver by the guy on here that makes them....his name alludes me right now.?????

What you got from the script is a breakdown of the files you have installed for your DCH (UAD) driver.
Follow this tutorial Tutorial for updating DCH/UAD drivers to update the base driver and all your DCH components.

Hey again I'm sorry to bug you again. I've since figured out how to update the driver properly and check versions with the scripts and what not. BUT how do I figure out which SoftwareComponent versions have the features I want/need. Specifically I want to be able to separate front and rear audio jacks like I used to be able to do on the old style driver. I think its called multi streaming audio. Splitting the front and rear audio jacks. I've had it working once before on this system but I forget which versions I need to install.

trying to achieve something like this, SimRacerMike? (I have the following options on my Gigabyte board using Realtek ALC892 and Realtek Audio Console Gigabyte version give these "advanced" options to separate or "split" front and back audio ports):

Determine the HDA Realtek driver needed for your Audio-realtek-audio-console-gigabyte-advanced-settings-digitalspeakersheadphones-separateoutputs2022.png

try asking in MSI forums for an older Realtek UAD/DCH driver version that might have those "advanced" options similar to what I have on my Gigabyte motherboard

    RealtekAudioDriverIntegration.log

    Hello folks,

    Dell Latitude E7470

The latest recommended driver from Dell is 6.0.1.6125 (05/07/2018). It comes with Waves MaxxAudio and it is direful.
From their offical website, I currently have installed the last Realtek codec R2.82 (26/07/17) which is okay but won't do.

I went through the thread yesterday evening and it hurt my brain. Members have suicided themselves over this thread.
I want to try the FF00 6.0.1.8648 but can't find any live links/repository. Where to look or request?
Given the Dell driver package is kak, what should I try next? Try a bunch of random HDA versions and see what's what? How about some of the modded driver packs found elsewhere?

Any pointers will be very well recieved.
