a few weeks late on this but (for FF00 HDA users)
v6.0.9235.1 HDA FF00 x64 generic WHQL from Biostar (posted Oct. 27, 2021)
WHQL for x64 Win10 & Win11 only
9235 was okay but not as great as 9205 HDA
also, v6.0.9205.1 HDA FF00 generic 32bit/64bit driver from Jetway & Supermicro (released Oct. 2021)
the 9205 HDA driver download from Asus bundled a lot of extras but the 9205 HDA downloads from Jetway and Supermicro are just the drivers
some older FF00 HDA driver versions I found (released to lesser known manufacturers in 2021) -
v6.0.9107.1 FF00 generic 32bit/64bit - EVGA
v6.0.9034.1 FF00 generic 32bit/64bit - AAEON
v6.0.9000.1 FF00 generic 32bit/64bit - Mitac
So I ran the script last night and got this result for my ASRock mobo:
Realtek Audio Driver Integration log information
Device HWID: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0900&SUBSYS_18491157&REV_1000
Realtek Driver Version: 6.0.1.7634 (HDA)
Proposed HDA driver : ASRock specific - Multiple Integrations
INF needed to install : hdxrt.inf
Not sure how to interpret this other than that it's an amalgamation of multiple driver packages. The posted driver date is 10/13/2015, is there anything more recent for me to update to?
Hi and welcome to TenForums!
The interpretation is that you're using a custom made driver, specifically made for your system by ASRock.
If you want to update, you either look in ASRock for an updated driver, if they cared to provide one, or use a generic FF00 HDA driver, taking into account that you might lose some functionality provided by ASRock in your current driver!
Good to know I figured it out right. Seeing as ASRock has never posted a newer driver on my mobo's download page, it sounds like the smart choice then would be to leave it alone and not try and mess around with other drivers.
I tried Microsoft's generic driver by uninstalling the Realtek driver, and I couldn't find an option in Recording Devices to enable Stereo Mix, which I realized I need to fix audio bugs in older games. Unless I missed something somewhere, it looks like the Realtek driver still offers me functionality I can't get elsewhere. So, it looks like I'm gonna have to leave well enough alone.
Hello,
First post here, i have a Lenovo Y700-17ISK with Win 10 x64 installed, as per the first message, i have the FF01 type.
Drivers currently installed are the 6.0.1.8158, dated 16/05/2017.
What should be the latest i could install ?
Thank you in advance for your replies.
