Привет! Hi!
win 10 2004 x64
alc269
I had an 6.0.8881.1 (alanfox) FF00 HDA driver, but I lost it after reinstalling the OS.
Perfectly balanced sound.
6.0.8924.1 (ms update catalog) FF00 HDA
dirty and weak, I don't like
What to choose? alanfox is gone
INF needed for installation: hdxsf3.inf
The device HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0269&SUBSYS_1043107C was found in the file:
6.0.8967.1 FF03 from A-Volute/Nahimic
6.0.8934.1 FF01 from Microsoft Update Catalog
or?
TenForums community the most helpful. I am very glad that I can read this forum
Sorry for my English. Thanks!
Thank you, MoKiChU. It seems to be about the same as 6.0.8924.1 and for me it is still worse in sound than 6.0.8881.1, unfortunately.
Where can i find alanfox?
https://www.catalog.update.microsoft...6-c3ccc88163ab it is the same?
Is there something similar in sound purity for 2004?
upd: It really didn’t seem to me, 6.0.8881.1 is much deeper and cleaner. Indescribable pleasure . But I suspect there may be some small problems on win 2004.

Is this https://www.catalog.update.microsoft...x?q=6.0.8881.1 and your link not the same?
I would like the same sound but a newer driver
true they're not the same, alexi.
the link to the 8881 HDA FF00 driver MoKiChU mentioned has the drivers + setup.exe installer
the 8881 driver from MS Update Catalog is a cab file with no setup installer - you have to manually install that one thru Device Manager (devmgmt.msc)
edit - you can also try 6.0.8907.1 HDA FF00 X64 from MUC (look for 146.6Mb cab package or get it directly from here; the 149.3Mb cab package is FF01 version)
edit2 - also if you want to contact alanfox, try here or even here
Is there a newer generic driver for Windows 20H2 version? The ones on Station Drivers don't work.
I'm still using the older 19H1 version from alanfox's github page (8899_FF00_PG475_Win10_RS3_RS4_RS5_19H1_Win7_WHQL), its for an older ALC889 and the UAD & HDA are not compatible.
Thanks I will try it
I have an old Asus P6X58D Premium. I just figured I would have to upgrade the sound hardware or wait until someone mods the Realtek driver.
why do you need a modded Realtek driver, Hemimax?
for Win10 20H1 & 20H2 releases, you need at least 8924 or higher HDA FFxx version as those are fully compatible with 20Hx versions
edit - here's the full 8924 HDA FF00 & FF01 package in case the 8967 HDA version does not suit your needs
----
my recent HDA FFxx driver recap
latest generic FF00 version is 8924
latest generic FF01 version is 8934
latest generic FF03 version is 8967
latest generic FF04 version is 8940
latest generic FF06 version is 8821, although there's an 8918 FF06 version but that one is partially generic
latest generic FF0C version is 8911
I don't anymore but thank you for the link never hurts to have a backup. The 8967 from Mok's ROG thread with some fine tuning is now pumping my surround
I was just used to getting the FF00 version from GitHub and I couldn't get any Station Drivers to work. It's probably more about compatibility with my gaming than 20H2.
