Facebook messenger won't access camera or microphone

    In the lower right corner of Facebook do you have a gear shaped icon called options?

    If you click on that do you get an options to "Turn Off Video / Voice Calls" ?

    Sort of a long shot then.

    I would trash that facebook entry in chrome.

    I would click "Turn them off" in the Facebook options.

    Then Log out of Facebook, close browser, log in, Turn on and try. Chrome should ask you again.

    Check your Bios. It is telling you in that post, that it is a hardware not software issue.

    Given that your camera works in Skype this is not a hardware issue.

    Did you try the suggestions I provided a couple of post ago.

    Do not need that screenshot. You need to physically boot into the bios when you power on the machine and check to see if there are settings to disable the mic and camera.
