Facebook messenger won't access camera or microphone

Here's a fix that will work no doubt.

1) Run REGEDIT as Admin.

2) HKLM/Software/WoW6432Node/Microsoft/WindowsMediaFoundations

3) Choose the (Platform) key. If you do not have a (Platform) Key create one.

4) In the Platform Key Create a new 32 bit DWORD called (EnableFrameServerMode) and keep the values at zero.

5) Exit registry and reboot machine.

You will be good to go with any kind of App access to camera and Mic. Backup the registry first before you edit it as always.

Tried and true..

tried it and it didnt work...update 9/29/19 ... I think that actually fixed it?? I reset several times since and somewhere a long the way it started working again. The first 2 times I reset and tested it didnt work.
