    I had a problem with v6.0.9618.1 on my GIGABYTE motherboard. The volume was slightly lower, which I guess is only a minor thing. But the bigger problem was the first part of any audio missed about the first second or two of play. It was like the driver was slow to respond.

    I've gone back to v6.0.9509.1 which has fixed the above problems.
    I can now confirm 6905.1 fixes issues on my Intel Gigabyte Boards too.

    found here thanks to Erpster4 : 6.0.9605.1 from the Gigabyte web site

    Thanks, Kbird.
    I've downloaded that version, but I haven't installed it yet.

    6.0.9614.1 from MUC also has Emdoor, Clevo & HP/Compal variants as well (now almost 100 entries in the MUC search; may reach over 100 later this year)

    you may not need the 9605.1 version if the newer 9618.1 version works fine for your Gigabyte board.

    for Gigabyte BRIX extreme compact mini-barebone PCs - version 6.0.9503.1 {this was released very late by Gigabyte - posted late January 2024}

    then use 6.0.9605.1 just like what Kbird did (or 6.0.9567.1) and post the result here whether the situation improved or not (v6.0.9509.1 is almost a year old)

    try the older 6.0.9605.1 NB version from the Gigabyte web site
    or even the much older 6.0.9567.1 MB/board version from the GigaIPC.com web site

    6.0.9618.1 is the first bad driver that I can remember having in recent times. They're normally trouble free for me. So, if two of us have had trouble with that version, it's probably a good one to avoid.

    I agree , at least on Gigabyte Boards as it didn't work well on either of mine , a Z590 and a Z790 Elite AX.
