Asrock just posted the latest version of its UAD drivers to its website today (April 23). Find it at the top of the Latest Drivers Update page. Just installed it on my Extreme7+ rig, and it replaced all elements (the Realtek (R) item under Sound devices; and ALL Realtek items under Software components). Cheers!

ASRock is no longer the only vendor that has a 9147 UAD driver, Ed.
Hewlett-Packard recently posted a 9147 UAD driver of their own here (for HP Pavilion 24 & 27 AIO desktop PCs)

only times the Station drivers site can be used to download specific Realtek UAD drivers is for users who use recent LG or Samsung brand laptops - Samsung is one vendor that does not post driver downloads on their support site for recent laptops [this Realtek UAD 9129 Samsung driver is one example - not listed nor posted on the Samsung support site] (only old Samsung desktop/laptop PCs made before 2013 had some driver downloads) and users had to rely on using a Samsung driver update app to obtain drivers.

I actually linked to the Asrock site for that item, @erpster4. You are correct to observe my fondness for Station Drivers, but in this case their link didn't work so I found it at the source. I thought you'd be amused, but I can't tell if you are or not. At any rate, Asrock gets relatively new drivers anyway. And it still leaves me asking how the Station Drivers guys get stuff you can't find on (certain) vendor sites like the Samsung example you cite.
    Thanks,

I have tried everything and I can't get a equalizer to work with the Realtek audio card on my new desktop. The driver that was installed when I first started my desktop will run the Realtek Audio Console but it only allows me to select the speaker configuration. I downloaded the driver from PowerSpec and ASRock for the motherboard and having the same results. The AsRock 9147 driver doesn't even connect when I try to run the Realtek Audio Console. I wouldn't care except that even running Equalizer APO doesn't make any difference. Anyone have any suggestions I can try? I don't want to bit If not I see a few reasonable priced sound cards on Amazon that are not from Realtek.

Does your new machine also include Nahimic? Because there is an EQ in that.

My rig is MSI based, using the UAD drivers, and my RealTek Audio Console has exactly 2 places where I can change any type of settings, but it also says on Sound Effects 'Nahimic'.

I looked and don't see Nahimic listed. With my old PowerSpec desktop the driver from Asus allowed Equalizer APO and the equalizer in the Realtec Audio Console program to work. If it helps my old desktop is running the Insider Build 21382.1000 and my new desktop is running 20H2 Build 19042.985. Once I have it all set up I will be switching it to the Insider Builds. After I make a Macrium image first though.

I was finally able to get the equalizer working. I followed the suggestion from Cliff S to use Apps and Features to uninstall the Realtek driver. Then I installed the driver from MajorGeeks. I don't know if there is any difference in the drivers from ASRock or PowerSpec but it's working and I'm not going to try them.

    realtek control panel language

    Hi...
I have found plenty of usefull info here... and now i have a question of my own :)
Is there a way to force the language of the realtek UAD controlpanel to English... I keep getting the language in my local settings and it not the one i want... IE disable the idiotic autodetect...

I have localisation of date, time, currency+++ to Norwegain but the OS is in English... and some idiotic/moronic function detects the Norwegain and uses it over the OS language... and the translation from English to Nowegian has been done by some Blind and Drunk monkeys somewhere... ie BAD!
