Go to Microsoft update catalog, search for realtek 1903 (if you are using 1809 then search 1809), toggle the last updated column and download the latest software component (11.0.6000.196). Unzip the file and use device manager to update each of the 4 software components. Run Microsoft store and it will automatically update the realtek audio console app.

Search for realtek 1903 media and download 6.0.8773.1 driver, unzip the file and update using device manager.

well Christyles, ASRock has these 8750.1 UAD drivers on their web site though they are listed for newer boards and are not listed nor "cataloged" for "older" boards like the one you're using (8750 UAD SBC5, 8750 UAD RTK) - these were released several days ago.
Edit 9/18 - this just in - 8750 UAD DTS posted 9/18/2019 on ASRock's web site

here's what a UAD driver looks like when installed properly (and having the Realtek audio console app, downloaded & installed from github rather than from the MS store - I'm using generic 8787.1 UAD driver on my bedroom pc - 8787.1 uad generic obtained from github)

    Attachment 247940
I'll give this a shot. Thanks! Asrock had me update my bios but it didn't fix it.

    good choice Christyles.

the Station Drivers site still only mentions the 8710 UAD drivers for ASRock and have not mentioned nor posted the 8750 UAD ASrock version

Guys, I have the Realtek ALC1220 Audio Codec on my Asrock Z370 Taichi. Can you link me the latest update for it and how I can enable the use of the Realtek Audio Console? I would also appreciate it if you told me where to find updates continually for it.

    Thank you.

That will work with my Asrock realtek codec?

I'm guessing It's the Realtek High Definition Audio 6.0.8829.1 WHQL that I need to install and not the usb one?

    Thank you!

Edit: I tried installing it and it said that the driver doesn't support anything I have, so you gave me the wrong one.

    Sorry, please read this thread.

There should also be one on the ASRock support page.

That post has a driver from an unofficial third party and Asrock's driver page hasn't been updated with the newest drivers.

You should be able to use a newer generic driver on the alanfox page but the Sound Manager software will be different.
The ASRock driver you now have might be the last one created for that board, Station Drivers website is another good place to look.

actually Hemimax, the only recent "generic" UAD driver version listed on alanfox2000's github page would be v6.0.8827.1 but because the setup files are stored in the XSetup folder, setup won't "find" the driver files and would fail to install the drivers [I may consider "re-packing" this 8827 generic uad driver if I have time later this week].

that's true. Realtek has not made any ASRock specific uad drivers for months. latest ASRock based UAD driver version is 6.0.8750.1 (linked directly to Asrock's web site), which I suggested for Christyles's ASRock board in my older post.

edit: your z370 taichi board has 6.0.8496.1 realtek uad driver listed, Ownsin [typical of Asrock and other board makers to only list new drivers for newer boards and not make them or "catalog" them for some older boards - I found 6.0.8750.1 listed for an Asrock X299 Taichi CLX board]
