    Hey guys,

I can see that my manufacturer (Gigabyte) is offering UAD drivers seen here.

Do I have to install these drivers and then go to the Microsoft Store and install the Audio Console? If yes, I can't seem to find the Realtek Audio Console in my (Dutch) Store app.
no. you first install the UAD drivers, restart your computer [that part is crucial] and then go to this specific Microsoft store link (thankfully MSI has bookmarked this link on their utility downloads page) and install the Realtek audio console

reminder: this is how the Realtek UAD driver looks like when installed completely (there is a Software Components section in Device Manager that lists the Realtek "software" components; when already installed, these components may be updated individually; 3rd party enhancements like Creative, Nahimic, Dolby, Maxxaudio may also be listed in Software Components section if UAD drivers contain these 3rd party enhancements)

I have the Realtek Audio Console as it came as a package from Gigabyte with my Z390 Aorus ULTRA. Has anyone ran into any issues when plugging headphones into the back jack?

Its listed as Front Speakers but I can't change it to detect as Headphones like my Front Jack does.

I'm not using them at the same time either just one cable straight into the Back Panel Front Speaker Jack. In the past on older boards I would be able to switch from Speaker to Headphones this doesn't give me the option. See the image below.

Even if I change the front jack to speakers out I still can't change the Back Panel Green as there is no drop down option.

Maximus X Hero, driver version 8648, but all versions up to the current 8656 have had no problems.

I use a soundbar connected via the pin connecter, like a headphone has, so

Does anyone have the problem of the Realtek Audio Control app crashing when clicking the Play test button in the option "Speakers"?

Yes it does crash. I have a 5.1 set up and it crashes anytime I click play in the Realtek Audio Console. Go back to page 13 and see Cliff S post about it.

    Cumulative Update KB4489899 Windows 10 v1809 Build 17763.379 - Mar. 12

Microsoft said there will be a fix coming end of this month.

Oh I thought that issue was different from mine because my speakers are already set to be the default output device.
