Up to you @pillainp. Thanks for explaining.

Or maybe I could host the file somewhere like zippyshare?
Hello,
i have the problem, that sometimes i can open the realtek console and sometimes the console won't open!!!
Don't know what to do!
Where can we check for the latest UAD driver versions, apart from this thread? Station-drivers?
Thanks!
station-drivers is a good reputable site, for all kinds of new "clean" drives.
Check the link given by @EdTittel in the first post.
BTW Ed, for you lucky guys that can use UAD drivers, it's now updated to Realtek HD Audio (UAD) Drivers Version R2.8x (8591) WHQL
(HDA) Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version - Windows 10 Forums

Thanks, Dimitri. Those drivers seem to be coming at a pretty fast pace lately. Wonder what "drives" their arrival frequency?

I might give this one more shot, as when I first upgrade to 1803, it had completely removed my HDA drivers and placed the UAD drivers there, and sound did work (but it was so basic I had almost no control back then). So, the idea that it thinks there is no compatible hardware, when in fact, WinX had it working previously, is a bit confusing.
Of course, I currently have everything working exactly the way I want it to, but in the interest of testing, I plan to try some more and see if it works.
I suspect his will be a week long adventure, as I have limited time, but I will post back if I figure out anything different for my ancient system.
I have a Clevo NB50 Notebook, equipped with Realtek ALC269, support Realtek UAD driver(Realtek Audio Console is also installed automatically), but if I open the Realtek Audio Console, Realtek Audio Console will show that this machine is not supported, which causes me to control the audio normally. How to solve it?
