    Try this link, if you're OK with a usually reliable 3rd-party source: HP

    @EdTittel,

    This thread is as clear as mud. What and where can I find the latest "official" UAD drivers?

    My Gigabyte board vendor lists them as 6.0.8854.1 dated 2019/12/10.

    Thanks

    Your best bet, since Gigabyte's driver is not updated, is to search for your HWID in Microsoft Update Catalog.

    Note: I get a crackle if using certain audio renderers in applications.

    I'm not expert on configuration - for me it's trial and error.

    Maybe check your media player(s) configuration.

    I'd stick with the originals from HP as they are the ones that were designed to work with your laptop. Updating to the latest "must have " drivers might cause compatibilty issues.

    Is that all sounds in all apps? Like I said I can get the same issue just with a wrong configuration.

    If you think it's a driver issue then it's a case of trying any/ all available drivers one at a time.

    Try SDI Lite but only for Realtek. Don't go updating everything else especially if it's working.

    Everyone here says don't use driver update tools and don't update drivers if it's not broken.

    Download

    Lite Version with Indexes only.

    You can try the realtek drivers one by one (new - old)

    I still reckon you should confirm whather it's a sound setup issue though as my sound is 100% fine but with the wrong settings there's crackles, pops or hissing depeding upon settings and it's nothing to do with the driver.
