Just grabbed the latest version from Station Drivers, installed it, and works fine on my Asrock Extreme 7+ Z170 rig. Realtek HD Audio (UAD) Drivers Version R2.8x (8710.1) WHQL (Asrock)

    Attachment 238374
After installing it...some features are gone. Also speaker fill is not there either.
Only way i can find speaker fill option when i uninstall realtek audio driver. Then i can access that feature via windows 10 built in sound manager.
Do you think this realtek driver improve audio quality?
Otherwise i will use that windows 10 generic driver...only because off speaker option.
And why asrock remove normal realtek audio driver from there support page?Console driver suck.

Btw do you have rgb lighting on your mobo?
Since you are also using Asrock mobo.
My music mode rgb is not working.
    I remember when i 1rst install polychorme.It's working.
But because of case lighting sync+realtek speaker fill option missing... i uninstall polychrome+realtek driver couple of time.
After fixing case sync problem. Now music mode is not working.
Do you know how can i fix that issue?

Advanced features don't come easy with the default UAD driver. You need something from the audio interface maker to take advantage of same. Sorry for your trouble. Now, answers to your questions:

No RGB lighting on mobo, so no music RGB, either.

I don't have the facilities you're trying to fix, so I'm clueless as to repair tips and techniques.

Again, sorry for your trouble. Wish I could be of more help.

Don't say Sorry. You are not responsible for this mass.
    Forget rgb thing.
Just Tell me if i use windows 10 generic driver will it decrease audio quality?
If so then is there any way i can gain "Advanced features" (only speaker fill will ok with me)?

I've never noticed a difference in audio quality between the MS-supplied audio driver and the Realtek specific driver. However, you'll probably want to get one of the audio professionals here on the forum to chime in. @fireberd, perhaps?

I don't think drivers make a difference. Audio quality, whatever that is for a specific sound chip, is built into the chip and associated hardware. . Drivers, generally offer features. e.g. the generic, basic function, Windows "High Definition Audio Codec (driver) sounds the same in my desktop speakers as the Realtek driver. I don't use any EQ enhancements (I have the option to do it0 as I use my system for my recording studio and when I play song mixes on the PC I want a flat (not enhanced) sound. However, the Windows installed driver does not have the "Stereo Mix" function and some jack sensing is disabled. The Realtek driver does have the Stereo Mix (in most, unless the PC manufacturer has disabled it) and the jack sensing with the HD Audio connection to the motherboard. There are some vendor supplied audio enhancement apps, such as the "Sonic Suite 2" that ASUS supplies with my ASUS motherboard. There are others such as Dolby audio, SoundBlaster enhancements, that add EQ options, bitrate options, etc.

I am completely confused… I have a MSI GE73 Raider RGB 8RF and all started with a low-volume problem (everything tried out). I'm able to run only one older driver which works on my system with Nahimic together. Every other driver, even the official update etc. fails:
    - BSOD when plugging in my headset into the audio-jack
    - Nahimic doesn't work
    - Every black-red-UI of Realtek Audio Console makes problems.
    - NO LOUDNESS EQUALIZATION TAB ON THAT SIMPLIFIED REALTEK AUDIO CONSOLE...…………..

I'm totally lost. I used guides for clean installations and reinstalled my complete system with no success. Many drivers won't work even on a fresh installed system. If you would ask me what kind of Realtek Thing I got… I don't know.

    Any help?? MSI support failed…

    MSI GE73 Raider RGB 8RF
    Windows 10 Home: 10.0.17134 (though… 1809 should be installed?!)
Realtek Driver: 6.0.1.8396 (many won't work with Nahimic and/or create a BSOD when plugging in a Headset into the audio jack)
Nahimic: 1.2.17 (Settings do Nothing to improve the volume)
(Both Drivers are the only one working in that combination, every other driver Fails/cripples my entire system)

Note again: I have an update Ready to install (which is … 6.0.1.8396) but it will fail on my system no matter if that system is freshly installed or not.

Hi, the Realtek Driver of the MSI GE73 Raider RGB 8RF is integrated with the Nahimic Driver version 3.xxx.xxx.

After the Realtek Driver being installed, then install the Nahimic Driver 3.xxx.xxx. That is it.
Nahimic 1.2.17 mentioned by you above, I believe, it is the VR driver and is a trial version!!! It should be installed after the Nahimic Driver 3.xxx.xxx works or the VR driver will do nothing.

I got MSI GT72, it is with Nahimic 2.xxx.xxx, and with no virtual effect, my lad's laptop is MSI GE73VR, he has never undergone any problem with the sound effect. If you want, I will try it 3 days later when he is home.

OK, you can try any newer Realtek Audio Driver now, I believe it will work. Hope it helps.

    note to TheCaballus & woolswell:

MSI has released updated Realtek UAD drivers (6.0.8765.1) earlier this August and Nahimic has released v1.3.2 of their Nahimic 3 UWP app, which the drivers have updated Nahimic 3 (NH3) integration DLL files and profile setting files.

Also, latest Realtek audio console UWP app is now at 1.5.191.0. several weeks ago in early July, that app was at v1.3.x, then in late July it went to v1.4.x and in early August it went to v1.5.x.

Instead, you need to grab a driver named Realtek HD Audio (UAD) Driver. Right now, the best source for this driver is at the excellent French driver site Station-Drivers. The page I turn to there is entitled Others & Generics: Realtek HD Audio (UAD) Drivers. This is a good link to use if you want to check in from time to time to see what's available there.
I came here to say thanks, I could solve my problem with audio drivers from my recently bought Teclast X4, it came with some UAD 2018 version but, after some Windows updates, it got broken, the audio was cracking and with a lot of hiccups, Teclast website has no drivers and Realtek just the old 2017 one, but, thanks to the topic I could download a newest generic UAD drive from this French website and now it's working well! Thanks a lot for sharing.
