    External Speakers

Just want to mention that I've purchased a pair of Logitech S-150 USB digital speakers at Walmart. The cost was only $10.00. So far, I'm very pleased with their operation. I'm able to hear music with better fidelity and listen to a movie without having to strain to hear the words. The manufacturer claims a frequency response of 20HZ to 20KHZ, although that seems a little extreme. The improvement is so great I hate to use the built-in speakers on my laptops any more. At first I was concerned about the low price. But my experience shows that low price does not necessarily mean a bad product.

They do make some great speakers. I use higher end Logitech speakers, but have had great use from their lesser models too.

Don't be surprised, practically any external speakers are better than ones built into laptops, digital speakers or headphones specially because they don't rely on built in sound CODEC chip. They have their own.
