    'No audio devices are installed'

Hey guys, I hope you can help me out with this.

The sound panel (under Control Panel > Sound) shows the message "No audio devices are installed".

However, my sound works perfectly when using sound in Chrome or listening to audio files saved on my computer. The problem starts when using applications like Premiere Pro or After Effects. The 'Audio Hardware' tab in those applications shows that there is no device available.

I tried both updating and re-installing my drivers. I've got all the latest drivers now, didn't work.

I tried the 'add legacy hardware' option in device manager, which crashed my laptop. Twice.

I tried different speakers / earbuds. Didn't work.

I tried basically every 'fix' the whole first Google page suggests me when searching for "no audio devices are installed". Didn't work.

Everything worked fine untill a day ago. I don't think it's very likely that it has something to do with my brand new and fairly expensive laptop.

Kinda desperate here :) Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the reply, here's the screenshot.
I also tried using system restore to a day before the audio stopped working, didn't work.

UPDATE: A third system restore (to about a week ago) fixed the problem. Let's hope it keeps working.
    Thanks for the reply :)
