When i connect my usb headset with microphone, the built-in 3.5mm audio on motherboard and all the 3.5mm devices are not working until i remove the usb. What should i do to have both types working same time?
When you insert your USB Headset, it becomes the Default audio playback and Mic for the computer disabling the 3.5mm jacks. I don't think you can have two different audio devices at the same time. With the headphones in, you can go go Settings/Devices/Audio/Advanced Audio and you can re-enable the mini jack ports.
To reinforce what spunk has stated.
Windows only allows one default audio playback device. Thus when the USB connected it is the default audio playback device.

Unless you can find a 3rd party program to do what you want, and if there is I'm not aware of it, you are limited to the Windows restriction.
The other option is to use a conventional headset with a 3.5mm stereo plug. The Windows default is to mute the speakers when a headset is plugged in but some sound cards have an option to not mute the speakers when a headset is connected.
Just adding to this issue the path for the solution "Settings/Devices/Audio/Advanced Audio" doesn't seem to exist anymore. Maybe changed in a more recent update. The current path is Settings/Devices and then Audio doesn't appear. Search in the Devices box will bring up Audio but Advanced Audio is absent. Looking at Sound Settings doesn't help. The 3.5 jacks aren't visible with the headphones plugged in and the USB not plugged in.
Until the latest update I could switch between USB and 3.5 headphones without a problem. After the update the USB had been plugged in, then taken out and the 3.5 plugged in but the 3.5 weren't detected and the system says I don't have any sound devices attached.
