I use my tv as a monitor for my computer and the sound has suddenly stopped working. The picture is fine but there's no sound, it says that the "Spatial sound" is off and doesn't give me an option to turn the sound on for anything but headphones. Nothing I've seen online seems to be for windows 10 and I really need help cause I need sound on my computer for school.

You can check what sound source you have active,
by right clicking the sound icon at systemtray and press Sounds.
Or you can go to, Control Panel\Hardware and Sound > Sound
From there press Playback tab and change to the source ur Tv has.
( in my example my current source is my sound blastser )
I already did both of those things and the problem is it's not showing my tv as an option.
Both are enabled, tv still not there.
if you change the hdmi port on the tv does that change anything?
if you use a diffrent hdmi cable from the Tv to the Pc does that change anything?
if you connect something else to the current hdmi cable you use with the Tv and Pc, like a console or a apple tv / laptop / intel nuc / other devices, do they get sound ?

It's a Samsung and it's been working fine up till now.
Does your video card show up in Device Manager under Sound controllers?
I think so? It doesn't say that exactly, it says "NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM)".
What video card do you have? I'm not sure if "NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM)" is the same as "NVIDIA High Definition Audio." Have you tried updating to the latest graphics drivers?
I'm assuming no NVIDIA devices show up in Playback Devices?
