Realtek HD Audio Driver Version old post

    Hello,
    .
I have been having a problem with the Realtek Audio Manager, which not showing up. I have tried to install my MOBO OEM drivers (MSI Z270 Gaming M3), which include a software called Nahimic, no luck here: Realtek Audio Manager does not open up (not even opening it from the folder) and Nahimic does not work either.

I have also tried the latest drivers with no luck, I tried older ones with the same result.

I would stick with the Windows audio managing screens but the problem is that it will not let me choose between headphones and speakers. It just plays sound from the last connected device.

If I uninstall Realtek drivers, the Microsoft ones sound great but then I lose mic noise cancelling as the option is not there.

So, what should I do in order to bring up the audio manager from Realtek again? Or how can I enable noise cancelling for my mic with the Microsoft drivers ?

Thank you very much for your help

    Thanks for your reply.

I tried, but the result is the same. No Audio Manager and, if I go to the Realtek folder in order to open it manually, nothing happens either.

I am starting to think that it has something to do with previous installations and Nahimic software. I don't know, I will give it another chance tomorrow.

    Any other proposals are welcome.

    Thank you guys!

I think realtek and nahimic cant work together?
Anyways, this is what i did, so you could try that, Install revo unninstaller (best one)
It will delete realtek plus delete any leftovers on pc on advance mode
Then you can install latest version of realtek like i did, and then update it with latest CAB file from first post
I did it and this is result Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet
    Anyways, good luck!

Thanks! I will try that later and post the results as I am not home now and TeamViewer is not connecting I don know why.

I also tried to uninstall the audio drivers from Nvidia with no success as audio manager is still not showing up. Funny thing, is that it is shown as a startup program...

Regarding Nahimic, it is a software that is installed by MSI drivers I think but it was not opening up anyways. As it was not opening up, I tried to uninstall it and gave me an uninstall error and uninstalled with revo. But it is still showing up as startup app some maybe there are some leftovers conflicting? By the way, Nahimic and Realtek are supposed to work together.

So later today I will completely uninstall Nvidia drivers, install Realtek and then Nvidia. See what happens. If not, tomorrow I will format my PC (third time in a couple of months...).

Another option would be sticking with Microsoft drivers which work great but no mic noise cancelling option. Not a big problem, but I would like to have it.
