Best mini PC for reliability and sound

Looking for an @home desktop PC with minimal footprint. The following 3 fit my preference, wondering if anyone has experience or recommendations regarding these or similar competitors, specifically when it comes to acoustics (quiet) and reliability.

Well, from the two links you have listed, I would choose the HP. Reasons, it already has a SSD drive and it has a better processor. The only thing I would add to this is more RAM. I would start as 8GB as a minimum and if the system would allow it I would use 16GB.

You should probably check all of the main manufactures i.e. DELL, ASUS, and ACER. Just pay attention to the spec details, mainly the processors, RAM, and hard drive (make sure it has a SSD drive). Hope this helps.

Thanks play2me. FYI, I am good on RAM, ports, CPU, etc. I'm happy with an I5-7500T, need one slot for NVMe, like more than 2 USB A slots but can manage, etc. This is really the size I prefer (~7x7x1.5"), and all the horsepower I need - I just want to make sure quality and fan noise won't bring a nasty surprise .
