After reading bad news about compatibility of Classsic Shell in latest Windows , I decided to uninstall it and went to Open Shell .
I still dont regret it , Open Shell works exellent on my 1809 , b.t.w ; did not notice much difference between Classic and Open Shell...........
And , why should you update this startmenu , when its working fine .....??

    ask them, nobody here knows
When I posted in this forum today I did a search to find it. I thought that this was the thread that one of the Devs of Open Shell posted in. That was the reason for my post.

I think those of us that just use the program to recover or win 7 or XP GUI and start menu. Could be some people are finding some more extensive customization aren't working as they used to????
Personally, I block the Lock screen and have a custom start button and basic windows 7 GUI, and I'm very happy with ver 131 on 1809 134 on 2 desktops and one Notebook

Windows 10 build 15063 worked great but MS finds it necessary to update their builds twice a year . That being said CS 4.3.1 is working great and there was no need for Open Shell but for a couple of builds. The Github looks like it is in Greek and I have asked there for other things and never got a reply. So I will keep using CS and those that Like OS should keep using it. It only takes minutes to change.

I just clean installed 1809 last week and the original CS 4.3.1 installed without a hitch and is running just fine for me.
