    I really like StartIsBack, always looked the best in terms of integration into the UI, been using it since W8.1, trivial cost, active development, less issues than Classic Shell (I was running it alongside on the other machine for a very long time, until I became sick of the issues with Classic Shell).

    Really has been "install and forget".

    Is anyone experiencing any major issues with the latest version 4.4.109? By major I am talking about not being able to install it with the IP builds here. I have had no issues whatsoever and want to check up with you guys to see how it is working for you.

    Okay guys. Tnx for the feedback. I am working on some artwork/eye candy for things so there will be a lot more themes/icons/etc to choose from in due time.

    Tnx

    I'm Running 109 on 4 computers with no issues that I know of, they are all on the latest 1803 Builds I'm waiting on the next released build to upgrade Releases · Open-Shell/Open-Shell-Menu · GitHub. I did uninstall Classic Shell reboot then installed 109 and restored my setting from the xml file created before the uninstall using Program & Features.

    I'm having an issue with classic shell/open-shell. It was mentioned by Ivo on the forums years ago. The lack of ability to search C:\windows\CSC files or redirected files. If i use cortana to search for the files there is no issue, I'm just hoping this is something that can be implemented before too long as I don't want to have to instruct my users to use cortana for searching while using the primary start menu is much more intuitive.
    Thank you

    Hi, at a guess, you may need to make sure these locations are indexed:
    Classic Shell no longer in development, and now open source-1.jpg

    This may help:
    Pasting this into the address bar opens a file explorer window so you can view the contents of CSC

    shell:::{AFDB1F70-2A4C-11d2-9039-00C04F8EEB3E}
    Classic Shell no longer in development, and now open source-2.jpg

    Having used that I found the location added to Indexed Locations. Don't know quite why...
