CCleaner?

    Yet another option....in Edge Settings (3 dots top right).....Advanced Settings.....if they cause you concern, don't allow them to install in the first place.

    After installing the November update to 1607, I noticed in the task scheduler CCleaner entries. Since I use CCleaner solely as a run-on-demand, it is odd that CCleaner found it necessary to integrate itself into the OS.

    I think that's only a job to check for updates, but they shouldn't do that. Not part of the OS. I disabled mine.
