Why does Cortana only show weather for 1 place ?

    Hi,

Can anybody explain why Cortana only displays weather for 1 place when I have setup 6 places I would like to see.

    Thank you.

Hi, presumably in Notebook, Weather, Add a city you've added some.

If I do that, then Win key + S gives me weather at my initial location, and the next is visible if I scroll down.

I agree but not all others. I see only for current location and 1 from list of places I have added. This place is always the same place.

It's not enough just to add one, you have to fiddle until you see a Save button and click that too... that's what worked for me.
Then you can check you see a list...

I have done everything you have suggested with no difference.

Do you see a list of cities under 'Cities you are tracking'?

    If not, try re-registering Cortana.

Note- my build is 1703 (CU). If yours is 1709, your experience might be different.

I believe Cortana uses your location to give you weather reports. I use the Weather Channel App and listed several cities in it.
