    Cortina permanently ON


    For some unknown reason the "Start" box remains continually turned on. Anyone know how to turn it off please? See attached screen shot for example.

    Do you mean the search box is permanently visible on your taskbar?

    cortina = 'curtain' in Spanish.. strangely appropriate for Windows. Maybe not the best name for a car in Spain...

    Yes, I cannot switch it off, can you help please?? I have shown a screen shot as an example.

Permanently unfreeze HDD

I have an Acer E5-575G. It is running Windows 10 1607. The SSD HDD is frozen in bios. I am able to unfreeze it, but when I boot up and check bios again it is frozen again. Is this being caused by Windows 10 1607?
So, I have The feature now, I changed my region to US, and there she was... so pretty! Anyway, I'm south Australian so I downloaded the speech package and all is well. She pretty much understands all that I say, albeit, she doesn't hang around long...
