Apps like Facebook and Candy Crush reinstalls after restart

    Hi Guys!

I'm using windows v1709 with a fresh install. After boot, I uninstalled apps like facebook, Candy Crush, etc but after restart they return. How can I get rid of it?Thanks

    Hi there, fulvioval.

Is your time, time zone, date, and region set correctly?

Hi HippsieGypsie, I just check and everything is set Ok. I just made a clean install with lastest build (fall update) in offline and after I linked with my MS account(I link after I created a local account to avoid windows create user folder with a missing letter in end).

    Hello fulvioval, :)

In addition, you might also see if turning off the automatic installation of suggested apps may help prevent them from being reinstalled.

I hit the same issue when I did a clean FCU update. This was actually fixed by a day 1 update:

    Cumulative Update KB4043961 Windows 10 v1709 Build 16299.19 - Windows 10 Forums

    October 17, 2017—KB4043961 (OS Build 16299.19)

    Improvements and fixes

This update includes quality improvements. No new operating system features are being introduced in this update. Key changes include:

    • Addressed issue where, after removing apps, they're reinstalled on every restart, logoff, and login.
