What's wrong with the Windows 10 ADK?

Since my update to the final Windows 10 version the previously installed Windows 10 ADK is now showing all the files as 0 bytes in size. I deleted them as they are worthless now. Re-Downloaded the Windows 10 ADK setup.exe but will not install. Immediately comes back with "Cannot verify integrity of downloaded files" error. Tried downloading and installing multiple times but always the same. Getting a similar error on the Windows 10 SDK also related to x86 Software Dev application file as it "cannot find file" but also cannot seem to download the file. Manually directing it to the correct file does not work either. Anyone else with any of the above happen to them, or similar. The 0 bytes only affected the ADK files only. Tried installing the 8.1 ADK and it will install but gives "Cannot run on this Operating System" error when attempt to use any of the files. It's a long shot but does anyone think the Win7AIK may work. Just need to temp use the deployment cmd prompt as dism will not mount a wim file for the running system from normal cmd and gets error 5 access denied. Was able to run all of the above just fine until the update. Is this something MSFT is doing on purpose?+

Where are you downloading the ADK from?
I think the latest link is here:
    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=526740

    which is on this page:
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/win.../dn913721.aspx

I'll check when I get home but was the developer tools linked to the final prev for Visual Studios 2015. Had all the SDK ADk and Hdk linked on same page. Was either technet or msdn site

I think the link I posted above was changed within the last 24 hours (to coincide with the launch, I guess), so yes it's worth a look when you get home I think. Not sure about the SDK but I guess that may have an updated link too.

Ok that seems to have fixed it. Strange that I still have the files on my backup disk for the adk setup.exe and it looks like the same size and everything else but it won't install anymore. Is this a new software thing? I was sure that if you had the file, then that was about it, and the link wouldn't matter after that point. Are the files needing to "call home" or something? If so that's a whole new level I'm not sure I like too much. Anyway, thanks, and that worked for all the dev tools.

I'm not sure what went wrong for you before.

I normally use the option to download the whole set of installers for the ADK, which I think would mean it would keep working without 'phoning home'

Glad you got it going though.
