Issues with MPC-HC + madVR and Insider Preview 17017

I just updated to the latest BETA K-lite Codec Pack. I'm using MadVR as well.

Since the last BETA update I have some kind of lag/distorsion at the top of the screen (not whole screen) when playing videos. Can't replicate with printscreens just because the video fixes itself automatically on pause. Also in windowed mode everything seems to be alright.

I have disabled exclusive mode in madVR.

Any idea what might be the cause or fix for this?

It seems the issue is called "tearing".Basically timing goes wrong and the screen displays a frame before it was fully uploaded

I tried with older version of the K-lite Codec Pack and got no result. The issue happened after the upgrade.

i'm having some what the same issue the video tears across the bottom of the window until i max the the window but after putting the screen back to the video normal size it's fine this only happens with 480/720 vids. this has been going on for at least six months. maybe longer.

Yeah, I'm having the same issue. When I'm using fullscreen the video gets broken in the upper part, but when it's the normal size it's ok.

I can confirm that 1080p is fine, but 720p were fine as well until the update.

I solved the issue by switching to the Intel GPU from the Nvidia GPU

I have not used any Codecs since Windows 7.
