    You need to find out why you don't see compatibility options.

    If you don't get a rt click Properties Compatibility tab then
    Open Settings, type compa in the search box, click 'Run programs made fro...'

    You should see
    Windows 10 Creators uninstall program automatically and block install-1.jpg

    then
    Windows 10 Creators uninstall program automatically and block install-2.jpg

    The choose or browse to your program.

    I found that if I rename the default install package Firebird-1.5.6.5026-0-Win32.exe to Firebird.exe, it will run and re-install without a problem. If you install it to the original location also retains the user database.
