Strange, no updates for Office 2010

So I had just wiped out my Windows 10 1511 Pro 64-bit to do a clean install of 1703. I finally got all my settings done and what not, but I might be seeing an issue.

I have another computer which is still on 1511 and I can see the 7 updates for Office 2010 on that system.

But my new 1703 system does not show any updates for my Office 2010. I checked the update history and I checked in the add/remove program area and there are no installed Office updates.

I checked Office and it states that it is activated as well as my Win10 1703 are activated. However, I am receiving the roll-up update (KB4038788 and KB4022405) so not sure what is going on or if this is normal for this month?

I would like to figure this out because I need to update the other system to 1703. Maybe I missed a setting? I have looked around and it is not popping out at me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you just did a 1703 clean install, check All settings> Windows Update> Advanced options> Give me updates for other MS products ... This is unchecked by default, check the box to get Office updates

Or, have you tried updating thru Office itself ? Try this -
Open any Office 2010 application, such as Word 2010 and create a document.
Go to File > Help > Check for Updates.
Choose Install Updates or Check for Updates. If neither option is available, follow the additional steps provided in the pop-up window that appeared after you chose Check for Updates.

Thanks for the reply mrgeek. Here is what I found

Went through the settings as you mentioned and it is unchecked, however it is also greyed out. At the top it says "Some settings are hidden or managed by your organization" and there is an asterisk next to the unchecked box.

I know I did some gpedit's to turn off like Windows Defender, OneDrive. Reason was when I installed Avast Windows Defender was still running. I read in a thread that this happens in 1703 and best thing to do was to gpedit and disable Defender which I did. OneDrive I never use so same here with gpedit.

Now I did the File > Help > and check for updates and I get this webpage
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...ows-update-faq

Weird. Other things I have done is I turned off the firewall because I use Comodo, turn it off via the Windows Firewall area. I turned off the Driver Automatic Update via Advanced system settings, hardware and then device installation settings.

Hmmm, turn on Windows Defender and OneDrive? Or find out what has taken control over that part of the update area.

    Thanks for helping

    Hi there

If you get stuck and provided you have the key you can still download Office 2010 plus any relevant updates directly from the Ms site.

    Download Earlier Versions of Office

I'd personally go for this and re-install OFFICE 2010 as you then are starting with Identical versions of Office. As a lot of corporations are still on Office 2010 (and Windows 7) M/s is still pushing out updates even though at retail level I think you can't get Office 2010 any more.

    Cheers

Thanks to everyone for helping. I just ended up wiping out my system and doing another clean install. Everything now works just fine. I can see my updates to Office and I no longer have that message about being control by an admin.

    All seems good now.
