You don't need to do anything since SearchUI.exe just has the "Cortana" process name since it's used by Cortana, but is not Cortana the personal assistant.

How do I disable Cortana. I have unchecked everything in settings but the darn thing carries on to interrupt!

I've disabled Cortana in the Group Policy, and restarted the PC, but still Cortana remains. When I used to have it disabled, a search icon appeared. Everything is disabled in the Cortana settings menu. Are there some other settings I should be aware...
After restart, there is no change. I have no way to search. I don't know where to start troubleshooting. Before, the Cortana process could not be killed. It would come back when you did it. Now it is gone. :cry:
