Aeseus todo backup not removable from win10, registry exploit?

I found only one entry on this forum on Aeseus Todo Backup, referring to a special removal tool for Windows that deletes ATB registry entries. I found out that removetool.exe only works in Safe Mode. However, the remove tool does NOT erase every trace of ATB on your computer.

Due to a change of internet provider my internal IP range was changed from 192.168.1.__ to 192.168.2.__. After this my Aeseus Todo Backup install could not access my NAS anymore. ATB kept referring to the old 192.168.1. address. I have erased the ATB install and registry entrees multiple times, but new installs of ATB keep pointing to the OLD ip address. This indicates that somewhere a very annoying trace of ATB still lingers on my computer somewhere.

After hours of de- and reinstalling I found that not only the program itself but also the ATB backups contain a reference to the OLD ip address (see picture). After renaming/deleting backup files and making new (sub-) directories, new installs of ATB however keep referring to the old ip address. Even when every trace of ATB is removed from the computer (checked the registry by hand several time, and the most obvious paths in Win directories).

Any suggestion on how to solve are welcome.

I don't know this software (hopefully someone else will) but did you check the hosts file?
