error message: "You have files waiting to be burned.."

Hi! I don't know how to get my video I downloaded from YouTube - to be copied onto a DVD. I clicked on "share" icon - and then I get the error message, "You have files waiting to be copied to your DVD" - something like that. But I can't see how to complete the process. Thanks!

    Hello Debby,

You should be able to still use an option in the tutorial below in Windows 10 to clear this message.

Hi! I clicked on your link, and was able to remove it from the temporary folder. But that deleted it from the computer, too, I found. Except for in the trash bin on my desktop. So I recovered it from there and tried to copy it to the blank disc - but still got the same error message. Do you have any other ideas for me to try out to fix this problem? Thanks!

It sounds like there may be something wrong (corruption?) with the file you are trying to burn to disc.

Are you able to open the file?

Do you have any issues burning any other file to disc?

Hi! Yes, I'm able to play the video file on my computer. I did as you said, and checked to see if I'm able to burn other items on a DVD. And I was. That was after I finally saw the button that had the option of finishing the burning. However, when I tried to burn the video to a DVD, it failed to get burned. I got an error message, saying that I needed to see to it that the latest firmware is installed on my computer, and then to try burning again. How do I do that? Do I update it in system devices folder on my computer? Or maybe I need to go to the Dell site in order to get that updated. I just now looked for firmware in my system devices folder, but can't see it or recognize it. Then I went to the Lenovo website, to see if I could update it there. But they didn't even mention my brand of Lenovo Thinkpad laptop computer - which is, SL510. So I still don't know what to do.
Here's the headings I see in my Device manager folder:

I've sent it as an attachment (a picture of the page in Device manager)

If able, post a screenshot showing the firmware error message to help verify if it's referring to the CD/DVD drive or motherboard firmware.

If you like, you can use Lenovo System Update below to see if it may be able to automatically detect and update your drivers and BIOS (firmware).

Thanks for the link - good to know how to update things I need updated from the Lenovo site! I tried to burn that movie onto a DVD, and this time, it said my DVD didn't have enough space. What sort of storage disk do you suggest to get for it? I'll send the printscreen error message I got for when I tried to burn it .error message: "You have files waiting to be burned.."-error-message-files-ready-burned.jpg

Looks like the disc has already been finalized.

You'll need to get a blank unused disc to use.

Hi! Oh thanks! I guess I'll have to check inside disks through properties or something - to find out if they have anything on them - before trying to use them for something that takes up that much space! I'll try it out again with a different disk.
