I am very annoyed at Microsoft deleting Windows Photo Viewer from my computer (presumably after a "silent" update of Windows) without asking me or even a warning me. I was, as often, in the middle of a big job simply viewing photos one after the other by right-clicking Windows Viewer's right arrow, so I could then copy some chosen ones by File > Copy to a separate folder for later attention and then be immediately back to Windows Photo Viewer's window and carrying on selecting.
Windows Photo Viewer allows this selection from a long list in a folder to be done easily and quickly without loading each image into a software which is what Photos.App requires.
I can't find a way to do this anything as simply in Photos.app (without loading each image into it) but if someone knows otherwise please tell me.
When Windows Photo viewer disappears again, as it will on a later update, I will need to go to this trouble of re-installing Windows Photo Viewer every time. NOT pleased.
In the meantime, if Microsoft are watching, please keep Windows Photo Viewer in Windows.
Thanks.
