Is Windows Photo Viewer gone?

Hello everyone, I can confirm that the individual user Registry patch doesn't always work properly, but the All Users Registry patch always work, tested up to build v1909, soon to apply it to v2004 and let you know. It works whether upgraded to 10 from older Windows version or older Windows 10 build and for a new Windows 10 installation. To download the All Users Registry patch see older posts in this thread.

Last i noticed windows photo viewer works on 2004.

I recently upgraded my main system (see my specs) to v2004. Photo Viewer was lost, but when I run the Registry patch for all users it worked again.

I no longer edit the registry to accomplish this. Now I use a free program - Restore Window Photo Viewer - see this link -

Restore Windows Photo Viewer to Windows 10

The single user Registry patch doesn't always work, use the all users Registry Patch. It works every time, even for clean Windows 10 installations. You don't have to manually tweak the Registry, just double-click the .reg file to import it.
