    Programs - Not Repsonding -

Ever since my recent format/reload of Win10 I'm getting Not Responding messages and program lockup often. It happens with AOL Desktop (not my only email, just the oldest), Mumble Voice Chat Client and Firefox. With Firefox part of the issue is with emoji's more often than not (Facebook and Twitter - Debug error), but even running these programs as administrator it still results in an intermittent Not Responding lockup.

I can go into task manager and stop them (re-start) or I can wait a few seconds for it to clear, but I'd like to be able to correct the issue. It mainly happens with the programs listed above.

You might try disabling those two programs from starting, AOL and the voice chat client and see if the issue clears up on Firefox. If there are any other 3rd party programs starting up automatically you might also disable those. Then re-enable them one at a time to start up and you might find the one causing the non responding problem.

There may be nothing come of this but you need to start somewhere if you're going to find what causing the problem.

Thanks CmmTch. I've enabled quite a few things that really don't need to run during startup and I'll see if that helps. This may be one of those funky Win issues that goes away after an update or two.
