    Cortana "No Sound"


    Cortana seems to be silent all of a sudden. I tried fixing the problem in Settings Sound, but still nothing. Do I have to speak to her before she will respond with sound?

    Couple simple things to check- click Cortana icon in taskbar (R of Start button) and click microphone icon to R of Search box to activate your mic. Does it respond to saying "Hey, Cortana" ?

    Another check...
    Does Cortana respond to your voice commands?
    If so, ask Cortana if she speaks

    Also make sure you don't have mute checked in your sound settings on taskbar !

After i installed windows 10 on my Asus N53SV, the keyboard doesnt work properly. I look on the internet for help, but it looks like im the only one. I tried uninstall and reinstall almost everything i know. From keyboard driver, touchpad, etc....
I recently built a new computer and installed Windows 10 Pro Creators Update (version 1703) and just noticed that I have never had icons for Phone or Cortana in my Settings. These settings are also not available in the search bar within Settings....
On all my pc's I now have a "get cortana for my phone" message in all the cortana action windows. How in the heck do I get rid of this? it is screwing up all my viewing habits for weather, sports score etc. Why does microsoft keep jamming all...
I updated every driver, and including Realtek to its "v7566" state. In the Sound properties, there is still no "enhancements" or any option for "sound fill". Inside the Realtek HD Audio Manager, there STILL isn't my "Enhancements/Sound Effects"...
