Application compatibility following upgrade to windows 10
Hello,
Regarding the upgrade to windows 10. After the upgrade is completed and we do a clean install, will the previous applications (e.g. Photoshop or AutoCAD) be compatible with windows 10?
Thank you

Your comments are confusing -- perhaps it's the wording you chose. An "upgrade" implies that you carried over the apps, settings, and data -- which would then retain them. A "clean install" implies that you carried over nothing. Which of these are you intending to do?
As to compatibility, while an existing Win8x version of an app SHOULD work in Win10 without problems, as launch date approaches for Win10, more and more app vendors are announcing new versions of their product for Win10. The best source of such information would probably be the vendor sites for the applications in question.

What I mean was, on the Windows 10 FAQs, it said that I can do a clean install of Windows 10 on my machine after I upgrade it on July 29th. What I am scared of is that the applications that I currently have on my computer will not be compatible with the Windows 10 OS after I do a clean install of it.

Most apps should be fine. There are a few apps that look at version numbers of the OS and refuse to install if it's not something it recognizes.. so you will have to wait for them to upgrade the app. (I think AutoCAD was one of those, as it demanded .NET 4.5 be installed, but Windows 10 comes with 4.6).
Regardless, there are also many compatibility features in Windows 10, like there was in Windows 8.x and Windows 7.

Hello @Coolsoso,
Yeah, they call that a RESET. Windows 10 now offers you the ability to Reset your PC both with or without losing your files and applications. However, you must first upgrade from a previous version of Windows before you can use that feature. It's only available if the upgraded OS version of Windows 10 is activated.

AutoCAD 2015/2016 and Photoshop CS6 work fine on Windows 10
