OneDrive ate my hard drive and external hard drive
I enabled OneDrive on my computers.
My main computer seemed to get slower and slower.
I clicked on "This PC" and my internal drive was red - showing
about 20 GB space where there had been close to 200 GB a
short time before.
My external drives - one a 1 TB WD was completely filled - 0
available space and the other = a 3 TB WD was pretty close
to full as well...
I went nuts and tried to find what was going on...ended up
deleting boatloads of files/folders just to create some space.
Finally, found that OD kept copying various files/folders over
and over and over again ... placing them in my C drive and the
two external drives... there seemed to be no rhyme or reason
for the selection of the files/folders that were continually being
replicated.
Scared the crap out of me....
I'd asked Windows techs for assistance and each time they
logged into my computer, the issue just got worse.
I was not able to delete OneDrive. Finally found out how
to stop it from copying files...
and just found that it's still doing the same thing on at least one
of my drives...
SO... Can anyone tell me how to eliminate OD from my computer?
I want to be able to drag files and drop them to OD online... just
don't want it to have access to my PC..
Also, how do I find all of the bazillions of copies of files/folders and
eliminate them?
Thank you for your assistance
