After Update - Tried to remove M.S. 3D Builder

Having read a complaint about the difficulty in removing Microsoft 3D Builder having read about the difficulty in removing it. I was somewhat surprised to see it had an Uninststall button to click on. Simple I thought does not seem to be any trouble, Then POW My normal Desktop with all the Folders I use became completely covered up with a slate blue Screen the Colour of The App it would seem. with just this almost blank screen, with just 3 icons to click, Chrome, Edge. and another, there is also on the top left of screen another 3 icons to get a list of apps on the computer is one of them, I can just manage to get information - My previous Desktop screen is apparent briefly and immediately covered up with this unwanted Screen. any Ideas to remove this covering screen.

    Hi billz

I would first suggest you run system restore and restore to an earlier point, before the attempted removal.

Windows Keys + R, type in sysdm.cpl, enter, click on System Protection tab, then System Restore.

Once you have your machine back you can review the threads for what other users did to remove. Myself I would use Option 2 in this tutorial. Actually it is the first app listed in Option 2.

Hi Ken , Tried system restore twice and it failed twice . I will have to read Brink's tutorial very carefully, but I leave it until tomorrow.

After the restore points failure Detailed as System restore failed while restoring the Directory from the restore point ( 0x80070091 )

I checked with AVG after running a check on my computer. The say check with Microsoft as it something wrong with the . It looks like I've got to live with it until I can move or copy everything. then clear the computer and return data.
