    Outlook 2010

My Outlook 2010 has developed a problem. Every time I load it after a few seconds it says Outlook has stopped working. I have uninstalled Office 2010 rebooted and reinstalled but it is still happening. Any help appreciated.

    Hi dlj935

Any chance you have more than one Office product installed, say 2010 and 2016.

Have you tried starting Outlook with no add-ins. the command is

    outlook /safe

Failing this there could be corruption in your PST file (I assume you have one which you imported when you re-installed). For this follow

Does Outlook work in safe mode? I suggest you review the add-ins and disable those you don't need. There is an inbox repait tool Scanpst.exe you can try.

If you right click on MS Office at Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features, then choose Change you will find an option to repair MS Office rather than reinstall it.

I use them all but I agree, Outlook can be very temperamental.

What particularly gets to me is the error recovery, for a "premier" product it is not very good and usually winds up with get a new profile. That is not a fix, that is starting over.
