Anyone any good at spreadsheet formulas??

    Hi Guys

I am reasonably able to do formulas but one I need is foxing me, I will try to show example.

    Cell A Cell B Cell x (profit)
    100 150 50%

I am displaying that A has made a 50% profit, but B will change from time to time so when B changes, I want X to show the new %. I believe it should be something like >>
    sum( B - A = 50 /100

    FYI though assuming A1=100, B1=150 C1=(B1-A1)/A1
    format C1 as percent

Not working for me sorry, probably me though.

    If I quote say
    A is 5000
    B is 5203
C is which hopefully will show as 4.06%

So if I want C to change when I update B, what do yo say the formula should be ?

Did I say it' Apache Open Office
