So it's telling you that something that ought to be on C: isn't.

Try doing these basic things to see if what's on your disk makes any sense:
    From an admin command prompt
[Windows key + X, click command prompt (admin)]
    chkdsk C: /F
Your PC will need to restart.
Post back the result, which you can get after a restart as follows:
How do I see the results of a CHKDSK that ran on boot? - Ask Leo!
Make sure the result is clear or fixed- else do not proceed.

Then from an admin command prompt
    sfc /scannow

    and post the summary result.

Also download and run Hard Disk Sentinel (trial) and post the GUI as a screenshot.

(Screenshots are best posted by using the small icon Insert Image above your post to the left of the video icon).

Did chkdisk, you can view the results here:

Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online.

Here the result of the scannow command:

Downloaded the harddisk sentinel program, but didn't exactly know what to do with it...

Double click the the exe to start the installation (assuming you've got the installable version, not the portable one).

    Install it.
    Run it.
    You should see

I doubt it will show any problems, as your PC is new and chkdsk and sfc /scannow are ok.

So now please try creating a new user for test purposes and see if the Store runs then.
Please also advise if the Store was ok when you first got the PC, before any updates.

However, I feel the fact the Powershell command won't run suggests something more basic is wrong.

Unless someone suggest something specific - and a quick look at other reports of this suggests not- I revert to my suggestion of an in-place upgrade repair install if the Store does not work in the new user account. It will give you a quicker resolution- assuming it works.

However, there is a complication. If your PC came with the anniversary edition (1607), and upgrading to the Creator's build has resulted in this problem, an in-place upgrade repair install will only take you back to the base build of that, and so would not solve the problem.

In that case you're left with struggling to fix what you have, or going back to the AU.

So we know what we're actually dealing with, please post a screenshot (or screenshots) of all of your Update History like this:

That hard disk program shows that nothing is wrong.

Furthermore, I created a new user account but same problem there: Grey tiles/No images when checking the store.. I am almost sure that the problem already existed when I bought the laptop, but I'm not 100% sure because I updated everything at the first days of using it. I've got the creator's update on my system right now, indeed.

Here are screenshots of the update history:

Thanks, I'm not sure if that means you had the CU from purchase- if that's all your updates, then it looks as if you did.

    You can try this:
Clear and Reset Store Cache in Windows 10 Windows 10 Performance Maintenance Tutorials

As it's under warranty I suggest you take this up with the dealer, if you think this may have been a problem from the start.

As creating a new user showed the same symptom, it's not user account corruption, but an OS issue.

Of course, you can always try this:
    1. Create a disk image (system image) of what you have now - Macrium Reflect (free) - needs external storage for your image, say 2x the data you intend to back up.
    2. Assuming you have a manufacturer's recovery partition, use that to restore your PC to as bought.
That will let you see if the Store works then.

If it does, you could update Windows and see if the Store is affected. If not, consider what else is running on your PC presently.

    3. If you wish, you can restore your PC to its current state using the disk image you created.

Another angle might be to disable any Asus utilities you have running. Sometimes people have had problems with such things.
