See Macrium's help page, apparently you can create any type of media you want.

    Version 5: http://reflect.macrium.com//help/v5/...nvironment.htm

    Version 7: http://knowledgebase.macrium.com/dis...g+rescue+media

I don't have Macrium, so cannot say for certain. Perhaps an experienced Macrium user could enlighten us.

    I'd guess it's somewhere under C:\Program Data\Macrium\Reflect\Windows Kits\....

But you probably don't need to know - Macrium should already know where it kept it, should you need it again.

Should be on your C-Drive in your BOOT Folder. Also the PE version you made will only work on your friends computer if his drivers are the same as yours....read below.....

If the hardware for all your computers is supported by the default Windows PE driver set, then the answer is a simple yes. You can confirm this on the Rescue Media Wizard drivers page. If all the drivers listed have the status Device support in WinPE or Compatible device support in WinPE for each of your machines then you only need one rescue media.
If any of your machines require extra drivers, then you have three options:

    • Create one piece of rescue media for each machine.
    • Invoke the Create Rescue Media Wizard on each of your machines.
      1. Locate all the necessary drivers and progress to the Rescue Media Burnpage before canceling.
      2. Copy the contents of folder 'C:\boot\macrium\drivers' from each machine to one machine.
      3. Burn a Rescue CD on that machine.

    • Using the Rescue media wizard, create a bootable USB stick, inserting the same device on each machine in turn.

Note: Options 2 and 3 only work if all your machines are configured to use the same version of PE with the same architecture (i.e. they are all 32-bit or all 64-bit).

Best idea for you in to install Macrium Reflect on HIS computer, and make the rescue media from same computer.
Your is 64bit and his is 32 bit ....they are NOT the same. Yours will not work on his machine.

Another option (a way I used to create a 32 bit version for my 32bit tablet) is to install 32bit Windows 10 in a virtual machine on OPs 64bit PC, install Macrium Reflect in vm and create rescue iso in vm.

Sure if the OP knows how...
Best way I believe is to install MR on his friends computer, show him/her how to use it...Done. :)

Sure but may not be the most convenient way which is why I offered an alternative method.

Most convenient way is to tech the friend how to maintain their own computer.
