I totally agree BUT we all know somebody who clicks any link, installs programs without thinking. Sometimes you can lead a horse to water....
Even my partner would never use it in a million years even if I taught her. I just do it for her using Teamviewer as it is less hassle than sorting issues out. Hell she would be a prime candidate for Win 10 S.
Now there is an interesting thought - UWP versions of Macrium Reflect Free and Teamviewer?
I assume you would be able to boot from an external usb drive on a Win 10 S pc if it can be upgraded to Pro?
Well just by going to your title of this thread you wrote:

Those are two different versions of Windows and 1 IS 32bit, and yours is 64bit. Not the same.
I would install Macrium on your friends computer, then show him how to use it. Just my thoughts on this.
