Not at all, Discord doesn't need any extra permissions or elevations so, is pretty much safe to run and go. I just would reccomend disabling getting DM's from server members (In case you join any) so you don't get messages from people you don't want to...

    Other than that, have fun!

Thanks so much for your continued support.

What do you mean by DM?

Does anyone else have experience with Discord?

I've now installed Discord to my Windows 10 PC, but I'm really worried about how Discord wants to connect to my Skype and other apps...

I'm just really worried about my privacy...

You dont need that. It just wants to make it easy for you to find contacts but its optional.

    Hi all,

I had some serious problems on this Windows 10 Pro PC so I had to uninstall a bunch of apps to see which one was causing the problem and so I had to uninstall Discord...

Now I want to install Discord again and I just wanted to check if Discord is safe?

Is there an update on the safety of Discord? Is it still safe for me to install today?

    Your reply is much appreciated!

So many people are using Discord now that I want to install it myself because less and less people are using Skype and Skype is the only App I use for voice chat...

Reading your links have made me feel nervous about using Discord...
