    how to reset the whole icon thingy on windows 10?

    Hi, considering rebuilding the icon cache, which I think is what you're asking about:

    -you can search the Tutorial section here and find this:
    Rebuild Icon Cache in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Customization Tutorials

    or do a general search and find this:
    How To Rebuild The Icon Cache In Windows 10

    But, noting the comments in the tutorial, this may or may not fix your particular problem.

    If not, please could you say exactly what's wrong and perhaps what led to it being wrong if you know.

    i tried to delete iconcache but still no luck i ended up deleteing the folder in windows start menu location my pc Icons is fkced up
