Download Paint.NET - MajorGeeks
Good day.
Thank you very much for the heads up Josey.
paint.net 4.2.14 beta build 7547 - Preview Center - paint.net Forum
It can be downloaded at the link Below:Changes since 4.2.14 alpha build 7542:
Fixed an issue with copying large images to the clipboard: if an image would take up more than 4GB, it could not be copied because the DIB and DIBV5 formats cannot be larger than that. Now, the DIB and DIBV5 formats are not placed on the clipboard if this happens.
Fixed an issue with Effect plugin tooltips which was preventing the menu item from being easily clicked (thanks @toe_head2001 for the fix!)
Fixed an issue that was preventing Effect configuration dialogs from working correctly in the Visual Studio designer (thanks @toe_head2001 for the fix!) *
Greatly improved performance when saving images at 8-bit color depth *
Added diagnostics information to most error dialogs. This is to help with troubleshooting.
Updated bundled AVIF FileType plugin to v1.0.5.0. This improves the default speed for saving: "Compression Mode" is renamed to "Compression Speed", and instead of options for Fast, Normal (old default), Slow, there are now options for Fast (new default)

After the final version 5.0 of Paint.net was made available almost two weeks ago, there is now a maintenance update and a new button for compatible pens.
This new pressure sensitivity button appears on compatible devices in the toolbar when using a compatible pen. However, Windows Ink must not be deactivated in the settings. The fixes are:
Fixed some issues with the main window that only occurred on Windows 10 systems with multiple monitors
Fixed some minor issues with the zoom tool
Fixed an issue when saving a JPEG or TIFF with certain types of zero-length IPTC metadata
Fixed: On older systems with multiple GPUs (e.g. Intel HD iGPU and an AMD/NVIDIA dGPU) where the first enumerated GPU does not support Direct3D 11, PDN now uses the next enumerated GPU that meets the Direct3D 11 requirements , instead of resorting to CPU rendering.
Fixed a rendering error that occurred when using the Pen tool on small images exactly 2 pixels wide.
Fixed some crashes on systems with faulty GPU drivers. Paint.NET will attempt to revert to software rendering in this case.
Fixed a crash on some systems with multiple pen/tablet devices where some of the devices were claiming the same cursor ID
Changed: All binaries are now digitally signed, not just EXEs and shell extension DLLs
The AvifFileType plugin was updated to version 1.1.23, which corrected an issue with progressive decoding
The DDSFileTypePlus plugin has been updated to version 1.11.0.0. It now detects files saved with an incorrect extension and attempts to load the file anyway
The WebPFileType plugin has been updated to version 1.3.16.0, which fixes the detection of incorrectly named files
New release of Paint.Net 5.0.3 See First Post for Details.
