In my own opinion - Windows 10 Pro | Remove Wireless Display Media...
Anyway I tested it and it works fine - no need to reset.
Solved :)

Thanks, then you can install it again in order to have a pure system.
Add-AppxPackage -Register "C:\Windows\MiracastView\appxmanifest.xml" -DisableDevelopmentMode

For those who just left it 'as is' and wondered what this apparently non-functional app was for - you can stop wondering.
Cumulative Update KB4022716 Windows 10 v1703 Build 15063.447 has removed all trace of it.
Hi,
I am aware that this thread is rather old and that, in fact, the issue was fixed by KB4022716, but I do wander what do you mean by "pure" system...
In other words, why is there a need to re-install it again and, above all, would it put the start menu entry back to its place?
I am asking this because I successfully applied the same procedure to remove the Connect start menu entry (not supported by my machine anyway) both in 1703 and 1709...
Thanks a lot
