windows 10 game bar error this PC can't record clips

i noticed that windows 10 has a new clip recording feature for windows now, in some games or apps you can press windows+g

(for me the PSN button on my controller)

and you can take snapshots and videos
but i get an error when trying to record videos

sorry this PC dose not meet the hardware requirements for recording clips

but now that i remember, before on the first time i seen it i was able to record and i did a small clip to test and it worked.
    what are the requirements anyway?

"Sorry, this PC doesn't meet the hardware requirements for recording clips" This message means you need to upgrade your video card. For a detailed list, you can Google it up. However, if you want to record a video without modifying your video card, then you can use a free screen recorder. I’m using it for while and I’m not having any errors and it provides high quality video recording.

Can't be that. I have a nvidia 860m with beta drivers. But I don't care anymore, I just use shadowplay

Microsoft have listed the requirements regarding your graphics cards. Here they are:

    • AMD: AMD Radeon™ HD 7000 series, HD 7000M series, HD 8000 series, HD 8000M series, R9 series and R7 series.
    • NVIDIA: GeForce 600 series or later, GeForce 800M series or later, Quadro Kxxx series or later.
    • Intel: Intel HD graphics 4000 or later, Intel Iris Graphics 5100 or later.

However these must be false as I cannot record using my pc and I have a nvidia geforce 630.

I have an nVidia GeForce GTX 760 2GB and I am having the same problem, but with only one specific game.

Game Bar works with EVERY Steam game I have tested except ARMA III.

In most cases, I can't even get the Game Bar to come up in ARMA III, in full screen mode and in full screen windowed mode.

I was finally able to get the Game Bar to appear while in windowed mode, but the recording buttons were grayed out. When I clicked on them, the message I got was "This PC doesn't meet the specifications to record video." Which, as I mentioned, is very odd considering I meet the system specs to record as well as the recording working flawlessly in other games.

As I stated before. I can record video in EVERY other Steam game I have tested, and I am definitely in the range needed to be to record, based on defined system specs.

So, this is a problem that extends beyond just making the system specs. What is it about ARMA III in particular that gives out this error when it works with every other game (and had been confirmed as working in ARMA III in a pre-release version of Windows 10 via the Windows Insider program.)?

So, I highly suspect that the other people in this thread are actually dealing with a similar problem. Have you guys tested any other games, or just given up after testing one? If it works in other games, then the issue is with Microsoft and how the Game Bar is implemented, to have it be giving such an obtuse error when recording obviously WORKS FOR OTHER GAMES.

Anyway, I'd really like to use this feature for ARMA III (because ShadowPlay kills my framerate), so if anyone can make heads or tails of this issue, I'd much appreciate it (as I'm sure everyone else in this thread would as well.).
