Hi, I know this is an old thread but I have never had success removing one drive, I have tried group policy before, I have used ccleaner to remove it I have go through the registry and deleted every entry for one drive and sky drive but in appdata the onedrive folder there's at least 50 logs they start out "user had previously uninstalled one drive" go on to "silent install" and a bunch of mumbojumbo I cannot read, before it says it deletes a previous log.

Anyway a few days ago I formatted the harddrive and performed a clean install of the latest ISO, I have set it up not to use onedrive but it's still being used. It appears to be saving every file I create even though I do not use it (local account only) every single time I click save on a file, I see a dllhost popup in processexplorer and disappear just seconds later. I decided to click on the properties this time before it disappeared and was surprised to find Onedrive.

So any idea how I can actually get this thing off my pc?

All you are showing is the variable "OneDrive" is set to "bla/bla/Sonya"

If you want you can use one of these MDL scrips like this How to Uninstall OneDrive completely in Windows 10 ? here are the instructions! | My Digital Life Forums

I'd not bother though to be honest. Just don't use it if you don't like it.

Ty, I just downloaded that uninstaller. The issue is, I keep having remote connections to my pc, despite disabling all remote services, somehow my files I create manage to get out, although I save them directly to a bitlocker drive. Now I checked that .dll and it seems as though Onedrive was logging them.

When I searched processexplorer for remote trying to figure out what constantly triggers the remote access connections, Onedrive uses the remote access.dll so hopefully this may help resolve the issue. But thanks a million!
