Windows 10: Need software for labels
Need software for labels
I make a lot of labels for storage boxes.
In Word 2003, that was a breeze: bring up the template, choose a font, then type my text and insert my graphic within the label boundaries shown.
But now I use Word 2016, and it seems to think that labels are only for mailings and should contain only text. I tried importing Avery templates, but they don't show outlines of the labels. The Avery Wizard works only up through Word 2013.
Short of reinstalling Word 2003 (and can I do that without reinstalling the rest of that Office suite?), does anyone know a program I could use simply for making custom labels?
You can do a Custom install of Office by just unchecking the things you don't want. Personally I find WordPerfect quite easy for creating repetitive labels, sheet at a time, have used it since '92. There are other programs, some ideas:

Just in case y'all were bored, here's an oldie but a (maybe) goodie...........
Normal PC that was running win 7 Pro. Had an HP 1260 Lightscribe drive. Burned CDs, DVDs AND Lightscribe labels... Worked perfectly. Worked for years. I know how...
I recently uninstalled a number of the apps that came with Windows 10. For most, the labels appearing on my start menu have gone as well, but for some reason two (Money and News) have remained (see image below). How can I remove these labels?
Whats up with the missing text labels? Sometimes its my start menu sometimes its the right click menu.
i had this issue before and I reset the computer and got it all back and when I turned on the computer this morning the icons were missing and just the names of them were there. and on the task bar there are icons there but not the ones that fit...
Time for our Graphics Team to design some DVD labels & DVD case covers for Windows 10 ;)
